Loves him.
Luther Vandross.
Listening to his songs over and over again is just so wonderful.
He's such a talent. Really. Just a few months back (or so it seemed), i was watching the Oprah's show featuring all- time favourite Luther.
He was flimed recuperating at the Hospital and had an interview with Oprah. Because of stroke, he wasn't able to speak and express himself properly. Watching that, i felt so sorry for him. A once healthy man who impressed the audience everytime he performs became so helpless.
My heart goes out to him.
Barely a week after, i tuned in to Oprah's show again. This time round, tears streamed down as i watched. Luther Vandross's passing.
There and then, Usher performed "Superstar" as a tribute to him.
Its just so much to digest. I couln't bring myself to it.
I thought he was recuperating, doing fine and all... so how come?... so sudden?... I can't believe, I really can't.
The sudden stroke claimed his life.
But it can never claim his works. His song pieces will live on and continue to touch the lives of many.
I can never forget how his song pieces touched me. Song Pieces such as "Dance with my Father", "Superstar", "The Glow of Love " etc.
I'm gonna miss him.
