MY MEMORIES

Finished marketing with mom at the newly renovated Tiong Bahru Market. Had breakfast there and it was, as usual, jammed packed with people.
There were long, incredible queues that stretches from the stall all the way to the staircase landing. So long. My goodness!
Stalls that shared similar traits are that of those selling soya bean milk, yong tau hu, lor mee, carrot cake etc.
The market area was also packed with lots of folks, aunties especially.
Some were pushy, others were just crowding around.
There were people shouting from one end to another and everywhere you turn, you see people busy with buying and selling. Lots of commotion, a perfect example of how a market looks like.
The whole market area is reasonably clean to my surprise. The area is dry, the air is good, most stallholders practice good hygiene.
No fishy smell, at least nothing of that sort. Perhaps it is due to good air ventilation.
Back at home, my brother is busy with his X box console-playing one of his 15 favourites, HALO 2. (i just can't understand what's so interesting and fun about HALO series.)
Well, so to speak, he gets his 2 hours of gaming every weekend considering he finishes all of his homework on most fridays.
Not too bad i guess. At least he knows how to strike a balance between his work and play.
